Day 5 - Guard the Vulnerable
Aug 14, 2026
Proverbs 31:8–9 — “Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
The goal of standing guard is not self-protection alone; it is Spirit-empowered responsibility. Godly strength does not consume the vulnerable — it protects them. Jesus had all power, yet sinners, the broken, the poor, the sick, and the rejected were safe near Him. His strength was not used for image, dominance, or control. His strength carried the cross. Because Love lifted us, we use our strength to lift others.
- Who around me needs me to speak, protect, serve, defend, or make room for them this week?
