1. Read Romans 1:18-20. According to this passage, who has an excuse to not know God?

2. Read Acts 12:21-24. Why was Herod struck down? Do you think God was justified in his instruction to the angel? Why or why not?

3. Read Matthew 20:26-28 (start at verse 20 for more context). Did Jesus come to lead? How are you heeding his example and words from this passage in your own life?

4. Read Isaiah 14:13-14. Who is talking here? What was their ultimate goal/ plan? What was their fate?

5. Read 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17. By what were we called? What are called to share in? What are we to hold fast to?
