“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death… we too might walk in newness of life.” - Romans 6:4
Baptism is not the thing that saves us. Jesus saves us, but baptism is a public witness that Jesus has healed what sin broke. It is the moment where hidden grace becomes visible faith.
