1. Read Hebrews 11:1. How do your prayers show your depth of faith?

2. Read Luke 22:41-42. What do you think of Jesus’ request?

3. Read Philippians 4:6-7. Is the application of this verse challenging for you? Do you feel like your prayers embody this passage? If not, what do you think needs to shift within you?

4. Read Ephesian 6:18. What are you allowing to distract you from living out this passage? Are you willing to cut loose those distractions? (Read Ephesians 6, just because it’s a good chapter)

5. Read Acts 4:23-31. Which verses stand out the most to you? Why?

For pondering: Sit and really survey your day to day life. Would your focus/ attention show that you are more impressed/ interested in human status and ability than THE CREATOR of the universe?
