Day 4 - Evil Does Not Have the Final Word

Sep 3, 2026

Genesis 50:20 — “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.”

Joseph did not pretend that the actions of his brothers were good, yet Joseph also recognized that human evil could not defeat God’s purposes. God is not the author of sin, but sin is never beyond His authority or redeeming power. The cross proves this: humanity’s greatest act of evil became the means through which God accomplished our salvation. We may not know why God allowed a particular wound, but we can know that evil will not have the final word.

- What painful part of your story do you need to entrust to God—not by calling it good, but by believing that He can still bring good from it?
