Humanity is seen in the love and compassion shown in times of need. As Christians we are commanded to be loving and kind and to love our neighbor as ourselves. However we don't have the world knocking on the doors of the church because of it's compassion and love, instead we have people leaving the church accusing it of lacking in love and compassion.
Is it possible that our compassion has lost it's relevance in the world today because we've misunderstood the basic principle of compassion?
