Day 3 - Hope is a Gift

“...justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” — Romans 3:24

We don’t earn salvation by building a record of good deeds. The Christian’s hope is Jesus Christ and the grace God gives through him. Good works matter, but they are the fruit of God’s grace— not the price we pay to receive it.

When guilt or pride tempts you to rely on your own record, remember that your deepest confidence is in Christ.

- Am I relying on Christ—or on my effort, reputation, or religious background?
