Day 4 - Strong Hands, Soft Hearts

“She opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy.”

— Proverbs 31:20

The hands that produce also give. The hands that work also serve. The same hands that build the house also bless the hurting. Proverbs 31 shows us that strength is not meant to make us selfish; strength is meant to make us useful in the hands of God. A hard-working life without compassion can become self-protective, but wisdom keeps the heart soft toward the needs of others.
